End of a Decade

In a few days we will not only start a new year but also a new decade. I actually started A Single Woman’s Chronicles 10 years ago… WOW…

Over the last 10 years there have been a lot of UPS and DOWNS and much GROWTH… I will not recap 10 years worth of things but I will say I am not the same woman from when I started this. I’m definitely matured. I did want to talk about a few things I pretty much kept under wrap in the last few years. So here we go…

LOVE and Relationships:

If you follow me on any of my social channels you know I rarely mention a love interest or relationship. The fact of the matter is that I was in a 4 year off and on relationship which recently ended. One thing I talk about all the time but don’t follow is being with someone who authentically helps enhance your happiness. I also have a need and desire to have a companion to explore life with. Over the last 4 years I have felt more stagnant relationship wise than any other relationships I have had in my lifetime. I had to make a conscious decision to end it. And that is that. I’m not sad or mad or anything like that. I still love myself and life will continue to move on.

Work and Entrepreneurship

In the last 10 years, I have switched companies and I have been promoted 5 times. I’ve always worked and I am a hard and smart worker.

As far as entrepreneurship goes I am still hustling trying to find my spot in this realm. I have a passion to help people and I have knowledge and knowledge is powerful. So I am still working on different things as it relates and hopefully you guys will rock with me on those endeavors.

Travel and Exploration

Since I am now a empty nester I have a lot of time on my hands. So basically I started traveling. I actually brought in 2019 in Cuba.

I was also able to travel to Cartagena, Colombia this year in August. It was an amazing experience with some great travel buddies. Not only was I able to go there for leisure I was also able to give back and help a school by providing the children coloring books and painting the pre-school. I hope to be able to continue to explore this vast world. I am already planned for 2020 to go to Dubai, Puerto Rico, and Bali.

I am ramping up blogging again, will be active with my YT channel and I am going to be more consistent with my podcast. I hope you stay to enjoy the ride.
